Superstrats can be played in alot of genres. I have played 700/800 doller bc richs and yes they have sucked. Black w/ Matching Headstock, Alder Body, Maple Bolt On Neck w/ Rosewood Fretboard, Floyd Rose.

And if it was a used USA BC Rich(usually $2k+), it was either thrashed to hell, or you clearly know nothing about guitars. Vintage 1986-1990 Kramer Baretta American Series Guitar, featuring Nagel graphic art.

I'm having an extremely hard time believing that, because there really aren't any 1000$ BCR's in production(nor have there ever been, too expensive for an import instrument, way too cheap for a USA guitar), or the salesman was trying to rip you off. Doesn't mean they're crap though, they're still the same specs, but I've heard stories about the neck not being sanded properly, or some sloppy pickup cavity cutting.ĭon't let that turn you off though, I'm sure it's still a killer guitar! Fucking tempting cuz I'm gonna be in the US in a few weeks, might have to give my brother the heads up for a UPS package. So the last few runs of the WG587's are made in China. With time the WG series became cheaper as they moved their factories to Korea and finally China. I'd love to try their Hellraiser C-1's though, they look nice.īleeding: That Washburn 7-string used to cost that much when they were made in Japan, thus having better build quality. Their neck profile is retarded, I don't know how the hell they're trying to market their guitars for metalheads, because no one really likes a fat neck. I'm not particularly impressed by the C-1 series schecters(500$ ish?), I've played cheaper guitars that played better(eg: Jackson WRXT, KVX10, DXMG).

There's a neckthru superstrat(H? MH? I don't know the series) with a flametop and ebony fretboard that sells for around 500$. How is a superstrat not a metal guitar? Why can't people accept that even non-discreet guitars can still play awesome? I suggest you pick up a WRXT or WRMG and proceed to tell me that it's a gimmick and only for looks.

LTD's have the best deals IMO, for about $500, you can get pretty good quality and real pickups etc.Oh I forgot, Shecters have good deals too. Because LTD's and Jacksons sell guitars that aren't extreme shapes maybe? Ex: Superstrats, LP shapes, etc.
